Custom is a provider of a variety of Heat Pump and Heat Recovery Systems.

There are two main types of heat pump systems:

1. Air to Air heat pumps
2. Water to Air Heat Pumps

Air to Air Heat Pumps

These systems provide an excellent example of energy efficient cooling and heating systems.

An air to air heat pump operates taking heat / dumping heat to the air outside. An example of an air to air heat pump system would be (insert picture of air cooled residential heat pump or packaged roof-top unit) commercial roof-top packaged system. The typical type commercial system would include retail or single or low level commercial office / retail or a residential split system used independently or in addition to existing heating systems.

Water to Air Heat Pumps:

Water to air heat pumps are another example of excellent value for your heating and cooling needs.

Of these types of systems there are two main types:

Geo-thermal – where the heat is picked or dumped through heat exchange piping systems in ground or in ground water (wells, lakes etc.) insert picture here

Closed Loop – where the water is sent through a fan forced air system and the heat is dumped to the air and is picked up through the use of a hot water boiler or like type system - insert picture here

Heat Recovery Systems: Through the use of heat pump technology we are able to recover waste heat and reuse that heat in another process in the operation. An example of this type of technology is where at a Care Home where lots of fresh air and exhaust is required we capture the heat in the exhaust ventilation and heat the incoming air for comfort. In the summer we reverse the process and provide cool air. The comfort for the residents is greatly improved and the energy savings are significant. Insert picture of Hawthorne Lodge here

Types of Heat Pumps Installed by Custom: - provide pictures for all

1. Swimming Pools – We have used heat pump technology for outdoor swimming pools (water to air) and indoor swimming pools where we not only use the technology to heat the water but we also use it to recover heat in a humidity control application.
2. Dehumidification – We manufacturer industrial heat pumps for the drying of products using advanced heat pump technology – link to CDK
3. Offices and office tower – closed loop and packaged heat pumps
4. Retail outlets – closed loop and packaged heat pumps
5. Process plants – process applications and office comfort
6. Vertical subdivisions (condominium towers) – home comfort, indoor swimming pools.
7. Residential homes and subdivisions – home comfort and outdoor swimming pools
